More than two dozen San Diego Eagles, family, and friends gathered on Vacation Island in Mission Bay Saturday evening to enjoy the chapter’s annual beach bonfire. By the time the photo above was taken, around sunset, some of the three dozen who had arrived earlier were on their way home.

Among those in attendance were incoming freshmen about to head to Chestnut Hill as members of the Class of 2030(!).

San Diego, of course, is one of the best places to view sunsets. Saturday night on Mission Bay did not disappoint.
