At “where the turf meets the surf,” Del Mar Thoroughbred Club, San Diego Eagles enjoyed a day at the races Sunday, November 9. More than 20 members of the San Diego Chapter, as well as friends and spouses, enjoyed the pleasures of a suite sponsored by Wendy and Ken Roos, ’85, P’16. Several folks were new to a BC Alumni San Diego event and it was great to have them there.

The sixth race of the day was named in honor of Boston College Alumni, and two chapter representatives, Bill McDonald ’68 and Chris Lamb MS’08, presented, on behalf of the racetrack, a bottle of bourbon and flowers to the team of the winning horse.
